Upper Plain crash shut down Route 5

BRADFORD—On July 16 at 1:29 p.m., Bradford Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Upper Plain in Bradford near Watkin Drive.
Investigation found that a 2007 Subaru Impreza driven by Sarah Russell, 35, of Haverhill, was traveling north on Route 5 when she collided with the rear of a Casella garbage truck stopped along the roadway collecting refuse.
