Police: Man nailed after he loosed screws
BRADFORD—A 54-year-old Hartford man was cited for disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, and unlawful mischief after he allegedly threw roofing nails and screws onto Main Street in Bradford on the morning of Nov. 7 shortly before 9 a.m.
Volunteers fire up new BES oven
BRADFORD—The Bradford Elementary School has a new outdoor pizza oven, thanks to the work of local volunteers over the weekend. As of Monday afternoon, a test pizza had been cooked and enjoyed.
Highway committee nears recommendations
WOODSVILLE—The Haverhill Selectboard is poised to review recommendations made by a committee formed to sort out the future of highway funding in Haverhill and Woodsville. The committee, which met last week, was set to provide its recommendations to the board, Haverhill Selectboard Chair Rod O’Shana said during the selectboard meeting on Nov. 4.

The town clerks of Bradford and Newbury both reported smooth sailing at their local polling places last Tuesday.
