Fairlee announces new town administrator
FAIRLEE—Fairlee’s new town administrator is also a selectboard member in Bradford. The town has announced the hire of Ryan Lockwood as the new Fairlee Town Administrator. He replaces former Town Administrator Tad Nunez, who retired in August.
Archaeological work progresses near Ely Mine
VERSHIRE—This summer, archaeologists started working near Ely Mine, which is on South Vershire Road about 2 miles west of West Fairlee village, in advance of the environmental cleanup planned by the EPA.
