Colatina moves on after labor violations
BRADFORD—The owner of a popular Main Street restaurant defended its employment practices after the U.S. Department of Labor announced more than $300,000 in fines and damages against the business last week.
Bradford’s special sidewalk vote delayed
BRADFORD—The Bradford Selectboard voted on April 25 to cancel the May 18 special town meeting on the Creamery Road sidewalk study. Board members cancelled the town meeting on the recommendation of legal counsel. The May 18 special town meeting was warned at an attempted emergency selectboard meeting on April 17.
New director leads Upper Valley Ambulance
FAIRLEE—Upper Valley Ambulance has a new executive director. Zachary Bryan was appointed by the board of directors in February to succeed Alan Beebe at the helm of the nonprofit rescue company serving a nine-town membership.
