NEWBURY—The Traveling Indian Bazaar returned to Tenney Memorial Library on Sept. 14. For four hours, members of the public browsed and bought colorful scarves, handbags, aprons, jewelry, and other items handmade in India. But there is more to the bazaar than shopping.

Man killed in motorcycle crash in Wentworth

WENTWORTH—A Plymouth man died over the weekend when his motorcycle crashed near Wentworth village.

Injured hiker assisted on Mt. Cube

ORFORD—NH Fish and Game Conservation Officers and the fire departments from Orford, Thetford, Lyme, Hanover, Canaan, Enfield, and Haverhill responded to assist a hiker who was identified as Jocelyn Bishop, 51, of Westford, Massachusetts on Sept. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

Federal and state officials, including Congresswoman Becca Balint, were in downtown Bradford on Tuesday morning to celebrate the buildout of the electric vehicle super-fast chargers completed earlier this month. The chargers in downtown Bradford in a municipal parking lot adjacent to Denny Park are Vermont’s first electric vehicle super-fast chargers under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. There will be another grand opening on May 4.
