FAIRLEE—Digging up history can be a fascinating prospect. For years an old foundation lay undisturbed near a hiking trail in the Fairlee Forest. Few people paid attention to it. Federal and state officials, including Congresswoman Becca Balint, were in downtown Bradford on Tuesday morning to celebrate the buildout of the electric vehicle super-fast chargers completed earlier this month. The chargers in downtown Bradford in a municipal parking lot adjacent to Denny Park are Vermont’s first electric vehicle super-fast chargers under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. There will be another grand opening on May 4.
