Man sentenced after crime spree

CHELSEA—A former Newbury resident was sentenced to up to six years in prison after pleading guilty to a string of criminal charges dating back to 2022, including car theft, grand larceny, and drug possession. David H. Gilmore, 47, who also has had addresses in Corinth, Hartford, and Strafford, appeared in court on Aug. 27 for the sentencing after a plea agreement was reached on Aug. 18.
