In Times Past: Drugs for a cure

For over two centuries, druggists and pharmacists have dispensed remedies and medicines to physicians and the general public. Some were standalone businesses, while others were housed in general stores.  This column covers the local history of medicines and cures as they transitioned from home remedies to patent medicines to modern drugs sold by registered pharmacies.
