Fines mount at nuisance properties

BRADFORD—Selectboard Chair Meroa Benjamin opened the Aug. 14 meeting and welcomed newly elected member Jean Carlan, who will finish the term of Dan Perry III who resigned in May. Josh Allen, Michael Wright, and Carole Taylor were the other members present.
Among the items discussed were Bradford properties, which are in violation of the junk ordinance, a fire warden appointment, a bid opening for the new fire truck, and setting the tax rate.
