Howlin’ good time as dog park opens

BRADFORD—Clear skies, wagging tails and happy smiles abounded on Saturday at the new Dog Park in Elizabeth’s Park. Residents from Orfordville to Ryegate gathered to check out the new installation. The 18,000-square-foot park officially opened and drew about 100 folks, and almost as many dogs, to celebrate the latest public space in town.

Federal and state officials, including Congresswoman Becca Balint, were in downtown Bradford on Tuesday morning to celebrate the buildout of the electric vehicle super-fast chargers completed earlier this month. The chargers in downtown Bradford in a municipal parking lot adjacent to Denny Park are Vermont’s first electric vehicle super-fast chargers under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. There will be another grand opening on May 4.
