Lyme, Thetford bridge reopens

LYME—After 19 months, the bridge over the Connecticut River between Lyme and East Thetford reopened last week. The bridge opened to motorists and pedestrians on Friday, Nov. 15.

I-91 opening on horizon

BRADFORD—The Vermont Agency of Transportation anticipates that I-91 South between exit 16 in Bradford and exit 15 in Fairlee will reopen at the end of this week.

Topsham family displaced by fire

WEST TOPSHAM—A 1.5- story home was destroyed by fire on Nov. 14. Tri-Village, Corinth, and Barre Town fire departments were notified at 3:43 p.m. for smoke rising from the eaves and roof of a home at 16 Guy Allen Road near the village of West Topsham.
