Rivendell principal is out

ORFORD—Rivendell Head of Schools Keri Gelenian has left the district abruptly after his contract was not renewed.  His last day was Feb. 12. According to Rivendell Superintendent Barrett Williams, Gelenian retired. Attempts to contact Gelenian at the school on Tuesday morning were not successful.

Some troopers return to duty

Three of the six Vermont State troopers placed on paid administrative leave from the St. Johnsbury barracks recently have been allowed to return to work, but the station commander has been reassigned to headquarters.

Federal and state officials, including Congresswoman Becca Balint, were in downtown Bradford on Tuesday morning to celebrate the buildout of the electric vehicle super-fast chargers completed earlier this month. The chargers in downtown Bradford in a municipal parking lot adjacent to Denny Park are Vermont’s first electric vehicle super-fast chargers under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. There will be another grand opening on May 4.
