Local artist finds inspiration in the past

BARNET—Edward Kadunc visited the Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, area on a trip with his cousin when he was a teenager, awakening in him a hunger to learn everything he could about Civil War-era abolitionists.
