FAIRLEE—On June 5, the Fairlee Selectboard signed the warning for a special town meeting on July 11 when voters will consider two separate articles, including one on whether to permit retail cannabis. Under the state law permitting retail sales of marijuana, towns must first authorize those sales before a permitted establishment can open for business.
